9-12 March 2017, Nice, France
The ECNP Workshop is organised every year to stimulate high-quality experimental and clinical research into brain disorders and their treatments. Junior scientists* from Europe are brought together with research leaders to discuss and present the latest advances and perspectives in applied neuroscience.
Each year, the workshop deals with three main topics, on each of which two senior scientists give general talks:
· Molecular and Cellular
· Behavioural and Systems
· Clinical and Translational
The variable topic (also two talks by senior scientists) in 2017 is:
· The wider shores of addiction
This year the keynote lecture is provided by Heidi Johansen Berg, from Oxford, entitled “Imaging and stimulating adaptive brain plasticity.”
There are also two optional talk on sharing data and career developments outside academia.
Are you a junior scientist* or do you know one in your institute who is?
We invite you** and/or them to apply for the ECNP workshop by submitting an abstract on your best work before 17 October 2016 via:
https://www.ecnp.eu/meetings/workshops/abstractsubmission.aspx
All abstracts will be reviewed, scored and the top 100 selected to attend. All participants will present a poster. In addition, the junior scientists with the 20 top abstracts will be invited to give a 10 minute talk.
Registration is free. Travel costs will be substantially covered by ECNP and accommodation is free for three nights in a shared room. Meals are provided as well.
